gold Sea Shore Velvet Patchwork
A grain of gold New
Using mixed media and stitch, printing blocks, fonts, bronzing powders, paint and metal shim to create letters and tiles. Appliqué these to an embroidered background of stumpwork creatures, fruits and perhaps some calligraphy.
Where sea meets shore
Enjoy exploring methods of working with a sketchbook, expanding ideas through experimental sampling with layered papers, fabrics, threads and colour, creating tactile surfaces.
Velvet extravaganza New
During this course students will study artists such as Klimt, Kandinsky and Hundertwasser to help generate ideas for design and stitch on velvet. You will experiment with white and black velvet.

'Always fancied having a go at patchwork but not known where to start?' Then this is the course for you. Christine's back to basics and bust a few rules approach will unleash your creative juices.
