'Paper Sculpture' with Graham Lester. |

Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th This course will introduce you to the techniques of sculpting paper into art forms, using cutting, folding, scoring and gluing to achieve the desired effect.We will make free standing objects and three dimensional (view from one side) art for wall hanging.We will start with making paper shoes and progress onto other more demanding projects. At the end of each day you will have a finished paper sculpture to take away. There will be a list of papers to bring (mostly Daler Rowney range) and tools, most of which can be found around the house. Cost of materials around £20. |

GRAHAM LESTER has worked with paper as a media whilst running his own creative company
and has been commissioned to produce paper sculpture for commercial material. He has also
exhibited and demonstrated in many venues, including John Lewis at High Wycombe through Art in Action. His
focus recently has been to use paper sculpture as an art form to express ideas as free standing and wall
