'Seams You Can Sew - Skirts with Surface Design' with Christine Eady. |
|
Tuesday 27th to Saturday 31st This five day course combines the basic principles of pattern construction with sewing, complimented with the art of appliqué, beading and other surface decoration to create a totally individual and personal finished garment. Based on your own body measurements and figure type, you will be encouraged to design your own skirt, developed from a range of classic shapes. The construction of the garment will be kept fairly simple to allow time for each student to personalise their skirt with a unique decorative effect. This course is suitable for beginners as well as those with some sewing experience. |
