'Creative Corsets' with Sue Allan.

Tuesday 27th to Saturday 31st Creative corsets is a course that can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of experience, using hand or machine stitching or a combination of both. During the course you will be shown how to create a project sketchbook and generate your own unique design. You will then be shown lots of exciting surface decoration techniques and spend a day experimenting and ‘playing’ with a variety of new, found and recycled materials before being taken through the steps needed in order to transform a plain corset into a stunning piece of art… no two are ever the same!

SUE ALLAN has a diploma in Design and Stitched Textiles and has been working as a designer and tutor for a number of years. She has a real love of design and a passion for experimenting with new and found materials in order to create exciting textural surfaces that can then be applied to a whole range of different products. Course Cost for 5 days £175. All materials can be bought or found by students in advance of the course, or bought from the tutor during the course for a nominal charge. Non Refundable Deposit £50.
