'Exotic Chandeliers' with Fiona Gall. |

Monday 26th to Saturday 31st Use fairy lights/light bulbs to illuminate your exotic, hanging, light weight sculptures. With simple materials – glass, tissue paper, beads and Fiona’s own wire working techniques, create beautiful forms or lampshades to transform any room. This is an ideal opportunity to experiment and have some fun. The course will begin with making a simple candlestick form, introducing wire as a material and understanding the basic techniques.We will look at the work of past students, various other examples and discuss what techniques were used. Everyone will then be free to create whatever their heart desires! Fiona will give individual guidance and demonstrations from the initial ideas to the finished pieces. |

FIONA GALL has a degree in Design Crafts and has been working as an artist-designer, specialising in
sculptural wire work, for over ten years. Inspired to make beautiful objects associated with nature and
the Faerie Realm, she decided to craft the kind of things Faeries would own and use. Trawling car boot sales and
auction rooms she uses the magpie magic of the found object to make everything from opulent chandeliers

Course Cost for 6 days £210. Materials costs depend on the finished creation but initial wire and glass is supplied free, after which the average spend is around £20-£30. Non Refundable Deposit £50. |
