'Contemporary Bead Weaving' with Stephanie Burnham.

Monday 26th to Friday 30th A design led course to bring your bead weaving skills bang up to date with a wonderful array of contemporary designs to choose from. During the week you will be using mainly small seed beads combined with a beading needle and thread, to create your designs whilst experimenting with different shapes and textures of beads. So why not update your colour schemes, try something a little more daring, and add your own flair and personality… so that your work can always stand out in the crowd!

STEPHANIE BURNHAM studied City & Guilds Embroidery and has had articles and projects published in magazines in the UK, America and Australia. Stephanie has written 5 beading books and demonstrates beading on ‘Ideal World’ Create & Craft TV channel. She regularly teaches workshops at Missenden Abbey and Knuston Hall. Stephanie has been teaching beading for the last 13 years, including a workshop tour of Japan. Her latest venture is to open her own shop ‘The Bead Scene Studio’. 'www.thebeadscene.com'

Course Cost for 5 days £175. Materials cost will very much depend upon the amount of projects you produce throughout the week, but a rough guide would be £50. Non Refundable Deposit £50.
