Monday to Saturday
The first three days of this course are essential for the step by step build up of working
methods. A portable etching press and good quality materials will be shared to enable both beginners
and more experienced printmakers to create fine-art prints with amazing tones, colours and textures.
You will take home drypoint (velvety scratched line) prints drawn from observation and collagraph prints,
inspired by layering and textures (be prepared to get inky). The course will help you develop a personal
language through print, introducing, at the end of the week, simple printmaking for book forms and
printing without a press.
