With newspaper, card, PVA glue and tape, learn how to make amazing animal sculptures!
Start the week with a wall mounted relief to pick up the basic skills, using reference material or making a fantasy figure from your imagination.
You will then be ready to make a 3-dimensional sculpture and plan the simple shapes needed to build up a complex figure. All the sections are then joined together adding wire where needed or decorations and fabric.
Make a dog or cat to sit by the fire .........or something more exotic?!

JAMES C. COCHRANE works as a freelance artist and illustrator from his home in Oxford. He sells his work in galleries and shops around the country and welcomes private commissions. He studied at Brookes University, Oxford and took his B.A. Hons in Theatre Design at Central St Martins, London.
Much of his work is influenced by his love of animals and the colours and patterns he finds in his travels abroad.
In October 2008 his book 'Paper Sculpture' was published with over 25 different projects and he has recently launched his own website.
