This two day course will inspire your creativity and most importantly of all - be fun! These beautiful handmade purses combine nostalgia with contemporary textile techniques. The course can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of experience as you create your own felted fabric panel, which you will then use to form the main structure of your purse. Your own unique creation will then be finished with a lining and metal purse clasp - no two purses are ever the same!

Sue has a diploma in Stitched Textiles and has been working as a teacher and designer maker for a number of years. Sue has developed a technique that combines felt with fabric in order to create soft naturally textured surfaces. It is this technique that Sue has incorporated into the making of her beautiful hand crafted purses.
