Saturday/Sunday 7/8th November
Bring along photocopies, magazine cuttings, postcards and sketches of subject matter that inspires you. You
will explore imaginative ways of composing and improvising with colour, mark making, backgrounds and narrative.
Working large scale, you will use paint, collage and mixed media to create a body of work illustrating different idea,
approaches and techniques. The course can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of experience.
A materials list will be provided of the basic colour paints and paper that you will need to bring along.
Collage bags will be for sale, but it is a good idea to collect your own interesting papers and surfaces.

Charlotte Hardy graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a first class BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles in 1999. Working primarily as a commercial painter and printmaker, Charlotte exhibits and sells widely in galleries. The paintings have been internationally produced as greeting cards, prints and as editorial illustrations. She teaches part time at Wimbledon Art College on the foundation course and at City Lit adult college in London.
