Monday to Thursday
Working with different media, together on a variety of surfaces, can be exciting &
liberating. Come & explore the possibilities, using paints, dyes, inks & combine
techniques to decorate the surfaces of papers, fabrics & wood. Covering a wide
range of methods we will experiment with painting, printing, collage & relief to
achieve original works that express your own ideas. Bring an open mind & a joy of
colour, pattern & texture.

JO DIXON DIXON trained in textiles & print at Winchester School of Art. She is an art teacher as
well as working as an artist from her Oxford studio. Travel & the experience of different cultures
are fundamental to her work that explores mixed media. Jo has been a tutor at Oxford Summer School
since 1991
