Monday to Friday
After a very successful course last year, the results of which were much enjoyed by the Friday
evening audience, Brendon will offer the workshop again. No experience is required to join this engaging
course that will take you all the way from story idea to a completed short film in less than a week. And
even though you may have no previous knowledge of film making or the technology, you'll be shown just how
simple it is. Topics covered in the course include inventing and perfecting a story, writing the script,
designing shots, learning how to use digital video cameras, directing, shooting and editing your film.
Learning the language of film making will not only enable you to make your own short films to a very high
standard in future, it will also change the way you view films forever. And to top it off, the group's finished
film will be given its premiere at the concert on Friday night!

BRENDON CONNELLY has directed more than 20 works including short films, television pilots,
music videos and commercials. He is an active film critic with his own website and a special
appearance on Sky Movies. During term time he teaches Film and Media Studies and Film making courses at
two colleges in Oxford.
