Tuesday & Wednesday
Bronze clay is a new material developed in America, and has similar properties to silver clay,
with bronze particles in a binder which can be used like clay, but when fired forms into solid bronze.
On the course we will make a variety of small sculptures, objects and jewellery, exploring the
possibilities of the material, including moulding, texturing, carving the clay as well as its firing
times and finishing. This is a revolutionary way of working in metal and changes the traditional methods
of lost wax casting.
