Monday to Saturday
The first three days of this course are essential for the step-by-step build up of
working methods. A portable etching press & good quality materials will be shared to
enable both beginners & more experienced printmakers to create fine-art prints with
amazing tones, colours & textures. Starting with postcard-sized semi-abstract
collagraph prints, in a variety of colours, from cut & collaged card with added
textured surfaces (be prepared to get inky), drypoint (velvety lines printed from drawings into
plastic or metal) and other techniques (some without a press), the course will help you
develop a personal language through print, on a larger scale by the end of the week.
