Monday and Tuesday
Come & enjoy colour & creativity with an
ancient form of printing, it’s not a difficult or messy craft/art. The marbling course covers
recipes, methods, materials, mayhem (no not really) & plenty of printing time to
produce. The first morning will introduce the story of marbling through the ages with
original examples of marbles followed by instruction as to how to get started
including recipes for sizes & inks. Safety aspects will be covered before commencing
on 5 Samplers. These will introduce the skills required for good & efficient print
making. If time allows on the first day, students can begin experimentation on their
own. The second day is for a development day of student’s own ideas & styles.
